To guarantee the version security, Huawei no longer releases complete update packages of new products to the EMUI official websites since EMUI 4.0.

For update packages that can be found on the official website, you can use either of the following methods to perform an update.

Prerequisites:

(1) A microSD card with a capacity of larger than 4 GB is available, and the size of the available space is larger than the size of the update package.

(2) Your phone has a remaining battery power of higher than 30% throughout the update.

Method 1: Perform a local update using the microSD card (applicable to EMUI 3.1 or earlier)

Procedure:

(1) On your computer, visit Easy Firmware, Press Model, and download the software package.

(2) Decompress the software package. Create a folder named dload in the microSD card root directory. Move the completely downloaded software package named UPDATE.APP to the dload folder.

(3) Return to the home screen and touch Settings > Updater. Choose Menu > Local update, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the update.

Method 2: Perform a forcible update using the microSD card.

Note: This update method will erase all user data on your phone. Please back up your important data before the update.

Procedure:

(1) On your computer, visit Easy Firmware, Press Model, and download the software package.

(2) Decompress the software package. Create a folder named dload in the microSD card root directory. Move the completely downloaded software package named UPDATE.APP to the dload folder.

(3) Disconnect your phone from your computer or other devices (such as a charger) and power off your phone.

(4) When your phone is powered off, simultaneously press and hold the volume up, volume down, and power buttons.

(5) When the startup animation is displayed, release the power button and keep pressing and holding the volume up and volume down buttons until the update screen is displayed. Do not perform any operations during the update, which may take a while. Please wait for the update to finish.

(6) After the update is complete, an OK message is displayed.

Decompress the software package

Download EFT Software Select Android Model Tap , Select Huawei , Select Update.app Software From software package And press Flash

Huawei Modem Firmware Upgrade / Downgrade

Firmware is nothing but the program code which contains of the control program for the devices. They may be permanently installed on the device or update able

As we know we can unlock some Huawei modem by updating or downgrading (Flashing) the firmware, In this article I will discuss on same.

you can download the firmware upgrade file from the our Easy Firmware

Go to Easy Firmware
Select your model number from list and download the file

FIRMWARE UPGRADE PROCEDURE:-

Open the firmware upgrade file you have downloaded by double clicking on it
As you open the firmware upgrade file you can see the terms and condition tab kindly select the I Agree and click on Next.
Then it will search for the modem and port , you can check following process.
As it find the port and model details you can see the conformation tab kindly select the next.
After conforming it will show following warning window click on next.
Your Firmware is updating kindly wait until the process complete (Interrupting the process may damage your modem permanently ).
As process completed you can see the success message.

Note:- If it will ask password during the update you have to provide the FLASH Code generated by IMEI

Firmware Upgrade Error:-
